The print depects a brick wall with framed windows in various shapes. This Architecture print was first used on a trumeau made by Piero Fornasetti in collaboration with Gio Ponti in 1951, probably the most iconic and famous Fornasetti piece. The first trumeau presented a wide array of architectural themes – leading to fantastic liaisons between fantastic Italian facades with ashlars, atriums, valuted ceilings, arcades, capitals, columns, friezes and pedestals. Its graphic ability and its imaginative strength is an exemplary dissertation on Fornasettian style, M31-R ARCHITETTURA
